Image tiles allow you to insert images into your page. The images will always be scaled so their width fills the users device. If you want an image to fill width and height across most devices then uploading an image at 609 by 1024 size is best.

Bear in mind you can also create images of text or titles with more complex effects like drop-shadows or alignment/colors and insert them on your pages.
